Of course, I'd like to focus more on blogging about what's happening in our country. But there are just particular news that will captivate people's interest. Just like this one.....
Ever seen and heard the legendary 8-gold olympic 2008 medalist Michael Phelps marijuana scandal?
Barely 6 months after he was hailed as one of the best, if not the best Olympian ever to plunge into the Olympic Swimming Pool, a picture showing Michael Phelps inhaling from a marijuana pipe has circulated in the Internet.
6 months ago, we hear and read all sorts of praise and glory for this young man who beat olympic records at the recent Olympics 2008 held in China. Phelps was somehow dubbed as 'Superman', and a lot of people are asking, 'Are you human?'

"Happen to see this Michael Phelps guy in the pool lately? Well, apparently he's all sorts of phenomenal or something. Eight medals? Yeah, it's official. He's the best swimming product in the world, and out of Baltimore, ever.
The fact that Phelps defied expectations – in all seriousness, who expected the guy to win all eight medals? - and actually did in Beijing what many were prognosticating that he wouldn't do is something extraordinary.
There is no doubt that Michael Phelps has had one of the best individual performances in an Olympics ever. There may never be – I doubt that – another one like it.
Really. There may never be another one like it.

About 6 months later, however, tides of events change for Phelps as the controversial photo has circulated the web.
As a result, US Swimming authorities this February has issued a 3-month suspension for him, including his financial supports.
the news states:
“This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero,” the Colorado-based federation said in a statement.
Phelps has acknowledged “regrettable” behavior and “bad judgment.” He didn’t dispute the authenticity of the photo, reportedly taken at a house party while Phelps was visiting Columbia, S.C., in November during an extended break from training.
We can never tell, really. There are no perfect individuals after all.
Superman doesn't exist.
